Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Warzone launch The Haunting on September 17
Season 06 brings maps, limited-time modes, Zombies content, Warzone’s Haunted Hollow, weapons, and Doom-themed rewards.

What we know
The Haunting arrives in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Call of Duty: Warzone on Thursday, September 17 as part of Season 06. The supernatural update adds maps, modes, weapons, events, and content across the games’ different experiences.
For Black Ops 7 multiplayer, Season 06 introduces Quantum, set in a Guild quantum computing facility beneath Arctic ice. Bloodstead is also joining the rotation, transforming Homestead into a location where the water has turned to blood.
The limited-time T.E.D.D. Trials playlist brings three notable Zombies maps into 6v6 Multiplayer for the first time: Roadkill from Ashes of the Damned, Inferno from Kowakujō, and Lost from Totenreich. A rotation of five random trials will let players battle the opposing team while using Ray Guns against hordes. Hordepoint, meanwhile, returns as a limited-time mode. Zombies will attack both teams when the Hardpoint is neutral, but side with whichever team controls the objective.
Season 06 also starts a new Black Ops 7 Ranked Play season, with rewards available through competitive play.
Zombies adds Tenshu and new Rogue Run options
Zombies is getting Tenshu, a Survival map available at the start of the season. Set in the Masaki family’s ancestral castle, it asks squads to hold the central keep against the undead and reach round milestones for rewards.
Rex Infernus will receive a Directed Mode with additional Main Quest guidance, while Starting Room confines the match to the house. Rogue Run adds Paradox Junction and Kowakujō, as well as three pedestal rewards: Pack-a-Punch IV, an Ultra-Rarity weapon upgrade, and Golden Armor.
Players who complete every Main Quest across Black Ops 7’s Round-Based Zombies maps will be able to earn unique Super Easter Egg rewards. The Haunting also adds pumpkin-headed zombies and treat-filled pedestal rewards to every Rogue Run playlist.
Haunted Hollow comes to Warzone
Warzone is adding Haunted Hollow, a nighttime version of Haven’s Hollow shaped by occult activity and supernatural horrors. Its features include a Ghost Train that players must bring back into reality to access its cargo, Trick or Treat pumpkins that can yield loot or an unwelcome outcome, and ruins uncovered after the pond is drained.
The Giant Infected limited-time mode pits Survivors against Infected in 64-player Haunted Hollow matches. Eight players are randomly selected as Infected at the beginning and attempt to spread the infection to everyone else. Survivors must build a DNA Bomb to stop the outbreak.
New Victory Streak challenges will offer Universal Weapon Camos, and Resurgence Ranked Play will begin its next season.
The Season 06 Battle Pass includes Weapon Blueprints, Operator Skins, and more. BlackCell adds further rewards, including the Revenant Operator and a Mastercraft Weapon Blueprint; both have extra variants that can be unlocked through in-game challenges.
Doom joins the event through themed rewards in the Doom Event Pass and the Tracer Pack: Doom Demonic Essence Bundle, which is coming to the Store alongside other Haunting bundles. Season weapons include the VMP SMG and TR51 Para Assault Rifle from the Battle Pass. The Arcblade Melee Weapon, Roc 20mm Special, and three attachments will be available through events and weekly challenges.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Call of Duty: Warzone are available on PS5 and PS4.
