PLAYUNSTUCK / TRANSPARENCY

Editorial policy

You should be able to understand where a story comes from, what we know and what still needs checking.

Updated September 19, 2026

Sources and context

We prioritise announcements from developers, publishers and platforms. We link to the original source and distinguish reporting by other outlets. An official source explains an announcement; it is not an independent test of a game's quality.

Dates, prices, platforms and availability must retain their region and conditions. An announcement for one country should not be presented as a worldwide launch. We aim to explain what changes for players and which questions remain open.

News, analysis and expectations

Analysis is labelled. A screenshot, patent or interpretation alone cannot confirm a feature. Hypotheses must be identified as such, including in headlines and summaries.

We do not present impressions as reviews of games we have not played. English and Spanish versions should preserve the same facts and qualifications.

AI assistance and review

Our editorial system uses AI to help prepare some stories and translations. Those articles are labelled as AI-assisted, even when their image changes. Automated checks evaluate publishing requirements and detect some text defects; they do not replace fact-checking or guarantee originality.

The label ‘Editorial team article’ identifies stories maintained directly in our editorial archive. It does not, by itself, certify a recent check of every claim.

Corrections and updates

When correcting a material fact, we retain the original publication date and add a note explaining the change and its source. An update date should not be confused with a new publication.

Use the link in each story or email contact@playunstuck.com to report an error. Include the article URL, the detail to check and a reference. We review the information before changing it.

Images, advertising and independence

Images include credits and source links. Attribution does not replace permission or the rights holder's terms of use.

Ad placements must be labelled and separated from editorial content. Paid collaborations and links that earn compensation must be disclosed. Preparing the site for advertising does not endorse the advertised products.
