EA Sports FC 27’s 10-Hour EA Play Trial Is Now Available on Xbox and PC

The 10-hour EA Play early access trial for EA Sports FC 27 is now available to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members. It can be played on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Xbox on PC.

Players who choose to buy the full game after the trial will retain their progress, allowing them to carry on from where they stopped. EA Play members can also save up to 10% on the full game, FC Points, and other EA digital purchases, alongside recurring member rewards such as Ultimate Team Draft Tokens.

What’s new in EA Sports FC 27?

FC 27 introduces The Grounds, a social football space exclusive to Xbox Series X|S. Players can meet, play with, and recruit Club members while taking part in activities including Kickabouts, 2v2 matches, and Clubs-only 11v11 stadium tournaments. The mode features three districts shaped by football culture and lets players engage with football mentors as they build their abilities on and off the pitch.

The game also brings gameplay adjustments informed by community feedback. These include improved awareness of space and smarter curved attacking runs, off-balance dribbling that preserves momentum through physical challenges, and redesigned set pieces with real-time control over positioning and attacking intent. A new two-player heading system is also designed to make aerial contests more competitive.

Football Ultimate Team adds the new Gallery, where players can collect and grade sets of past and present Player Items across clubs, leagues, nations, and FUT campaigns. Completing these collections raises the Gallery Level, earns rewards, and contributes to a club’s identity over the season.

Meanwhile, Manager Career receives a rebuilt Transfer Market. Player values will account for elements including club buying power, potential, ratings, and form. The system also includes active club bidding, performance and buy-back clauses, while Dynamic OVRs reflect form, morale, and fitness.

EA Play includes unlimited access to a selection of EA titles, trials for certain new games, in-game member rewards, and discounts on EA digital purchases. Availability and benefit terms are subject to conditions, limitations, and exclusions.
