Clue Junior Details Its Mystery Gameplay in Hasbro Games Junior Collection

Outright Games has shared further details on Clue Junior, one of the three games included in Hasbro Games Junior Collection. The digital collection will also feature Monopoly Junior and The Game of Life Junior, with a focus on family play and younger players, and is set to launch later in 2026.

In Clue Junior, players take on the role of detectives trying to work out what happened. Investigations begin by moving around the board and searching its different rooms for hidden clues. The information players uncover can narrow the options, rule out suspects, and bring them closer to solving the case.

The game includes a detective notebook for recording deductions. As more clues are found, players can cross off suspects and possibilities that no longer fit the evidence. The system also retains a social part of the experience: when one player checks their notes, everyone else has to look away.

Once a player believes they have solved the mystery, they can make an accusation. The outcome will show whether their collected clues and deductions were correct. Beyond solving cases, Clue Junior lets players track statistics, level up, and unlock new items by continuing to play.

The collection supports solo play and local multiplayer for up to four people on one console. It will also include customizable avatars and cosmetic rewards that can be unlocked through matches.

Alongside Clue Junior’s detective work, Monopoly Junior has players travel around the board, claim locations, and collect money, while The Game of Life Junior involves progressing along its route and collecting stars. Together, the package brings three digital adaptations of junior board games to Xbox.
