HOT WHEELS Infinite Rush Is Now Available in Early Access on Xbox
Milestone’s arcade racer arrives with four explorable islands, more than 150 vehicles, a track editor, and single-player, split-screen, and online multiplayer options.

What we know
HOT WHEELS Infinite Rush is now available in Early Access for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox on PC. Milestone’s arcade racer sends players through an archipelago of four toy-scale islands that can be freely explored, with races, activities, collectibles, and secrets scattered throughout each setting. It is also handheld optimized for ROG Xbox Ally.
Rather than moving players through a fixed run of races, Infinite Rush builds its progression around exploration. Each island contains challenges and discoveries that can expand the garage while players work through the single-player campaign.
Four vehicle types and a switchable squad
The Early Access launch includes more than 150 vehicles across four categories: Versatiles, Titans, Drifters, and Speeders. Events are designed around the different strengths of those classes, whether that means sliding through tight turns, pushing top speed on long straights, or using the force of heavier rides.
Players can assemble a Rush Squad containing one vehicle from each category, then swap between them during exploration with a single button press. According to Xbox Wire, the system is intended to let players adjust to the challenges they find across the islands without breaking their momentum.
The single-player campaign leads to the Rush Masters, the bosses who rule each island. Completing events unlocks their challenges, while defeating them awards their vehicle and title. Beating all four is the route to becoming the ultimate Rush Master.
Custom cars and community-made tracks
Alongside vehicles unlocked through races, activities, challenges, and encounters such as the Secret Dealership, Infinite Rush includes Sticker and Livery editors for car customization, down to the wheels.
Its Track Builder lets players create courses using the surrounding world. The tool includes adaptive ground snapping and AI action markers, allowing virtual opponents to race on the tracks players build. Created courses can also be shared with the community.
The game supports single-player, split-screen for up to four players, and online multiplayer with cross-play. Nintendo Switch 2 is listed as the exception to cross-play support.
