Orbitals is now available on Nintendo Switch 2 with two-player co-op

Orbitals is now available on Nintendo Switch 2 for $39.99. The intergalactic two-player co-op adventure follows Maki and Omura, inseparable explorers searching for help for their collapsing station home, which has been caught inside a supernatural cosmic storm.

The game is built around asymmetric co-op. Each character has distinct tools, making communication and coordination essential to clear routes, solve puzzles and survive hazards. Players can join up through local split-screen or online via GameShare, while Orbitals: Global Friend’s Pass is also listed as a free Nintendo Switch 2 download.

Beyond the Storm Wall

Maki and Omura pilot their ship through asteroid fields and unexplored territory in an effort to save their settlement. Their journey takes them to abandoned stations containing dangers and puzzles designed to be overcome by two players, alongside unusual creatures and characters.

Orbitals is set in a new world with a retro anime look and feel. Nintendo highlights hand-crafted cinematic cutscenes from Studio Massket, full voice acting in English, Japanese, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French, Spanish, Chinese and German, and an original soundtrack drawing from the era’s anime magic.

Online features, including GameChat, require an internet connection, a Nintendo Account and a Nintendo Switch Online membership sold separately. Each user needs a Nintendo Switch 2 and GameChat to use GameShare through GameChat, and availability may vary by country.
