Legend Division: above Champion

Legend Division is a new solo-queue-only competitive playlist that uses the Pro League map pool and will open with every mid-season update. The Year 11 Season 3 edition runs until December 1. It rewards a profile banner, with an exclusive charm for the top 100 players in each region, and resets every season.

Getting in is demanding. According to Ubisoft, you need Secure Boot enabled, two-step verification through an authenticator app, a current Champion rank, Clearance Level 200 or higher, Platinum or above last season and a Reputation Standing of level three or more. The season page adds that HVCI and TPM 2.0 are also checked on PC, and that you have to grant temporary administrator privileges to verify them. Ahead of launch, Ubisoft ran a ban wave against more than 50,000 accounts for account sharing, account selling and ban evasion.

Changes to Noor and other Operators

Noor, the shield-countering Defender who arrived with Split Fire, gets stronger. His Horus Lance Launcher now drills in 1.5 seconds instead of 2, guardbreaks ballistic shields at 100% instead of 30%, equips in 0.4 seconds instead of 0.9 and deals 80 damage on a direct hit instead of 50. It also damages shield Operators while they remove it, and its hitbox has been improved.

There are more tweaks: Tachanka's Shumikha Launcher gets a firing-mode switch: a new Impact Mode (the default), where the projectile explodes on contact with any surface, and Bounce Mode, where it passes through fragile objects such as glass or paper; Snake's Soliton Radar loses a precision-mode charge, down to three from four; Valkyrie gets the Glaive-12 as a secondary weapon, Capitão's fire spreads faster, Clash's slowdown when running away from her doubles and Osa has fewer deployment restrictions. Fire damage rises from 12 to 14 HP and barbed wire now fully stops the BU-GI.

Doktor's Curse and new Ranked maps

The Doktor's Curse Halloween event returns with its 5v5 hide-and-seek mode on Doktor's Lab, a modified version of Clubhouse. Ubisoft News says it runs until November 2, although the game's roadmap, last updated in September, listed different dates. It includes a 33-item collection that ends with the M590A1 shotgun, a free event pack and Twitch drops.

The Ranked rotation changes: the Pro League maps are Border, Bank, Chalet, Clubhouse, Villa, Fortress, Kafe, Lair and Nighthaven, joined by Oregon, Coastline, Consulate, Kanal, Outback and Casino. Ubisoft says Split Fire will be the last season using the current rotation system, following community feedback. The update is out now on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, including through Ubisoft+.
