The Wolf Among Us Remastered delayed on Switch; PS5, Xbox and PC stay on October 29
Telltale Games has delayed the Nintendo Switch version of The Wolf Among Us Remastered, which was due on October 29 alongside the other versions, to a date yet to be announced. The PlayStation 5, Xbox and PC versions are still launching that day.

What Telltale said
The studio announced the change on October 16 in a statement posted on its official X account. In it, Telltale says this is the first time The Wolf Among Us is coming to Nintendo Switch, something it says it doesn’t take lightly, and explains that it is taking some additional time “to ensure we deliver the experience Nintendo players deserve.”
The company adds that the Switch version will follow at a later date and that it will share an updated release date as soon as it can. For now, there is no release window for this version.
PS5, Xbox and PC unchanged
According to Gematsu, the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store) versions are still set for October 29. The game’s official page on Telltale’s website still lists the PC and console launch for that day, with links to Xbox, PlayStation Store, Steam and Epic Games Store, and places Switch in a separate “Also Coming To” section. The Microsoft Store listing shows Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, and Steam also lists October 29.
On Steam it is listed with English, French, German and Latin American Spanish text, with English-only voice acting, and Telltale as both developer and publisher.
What about Nintendo Switch 2?
The statement only refers to Nintendo Switch and does not mention Nintendo Switch 2, even though the game had previously been announced for both consoles, as Nintendo Everything points out. Nintendo Life also highlights the omission. Telltale’s message does not say whether the Switch 2 version is still planned or affected by the delay.
What the remaster includes
The Wolf Among Us Remastered is a new version of Telltale’s narrative adventure inspired by DC’s Fables comics. You play as Sheriff Bigby Wolf, investigating a brutal murder in Fabletown, where characters from myth and legend live secretly among humans.
According to the official site, it includes all five episodes of the original story with improved lighting, animation and environments, a new black-and-white Noir Mode you can toggle at any time, and bonus content with developer commentary, concept art, interviews and restored material. In the US it is rated M (Mature 17+) by the ESRB.
