Warframe: Epoch Operation Taubound runs October 15 through November 17

What we know

The studio posted details on warframe.com on October 8. On October 13, Megan Everett, Digital Extremes’ Director of Community, expanded on the message on Xbox Wire for the Xbox community. Both present it as a unique event: there will be no reruns.

The narrative goal is to open a path to Tau with Praghasa’s help. Players run missions on Eris, earn Moonflesh and trade it for event rewards. Those who interact with Praghasa also get daily narrative login messages for the duration of the Operation.

During the event, anyone who has completed Vor’s Prize can access Eris even if they do not meet the usual Star Chart and Junction requirements.

Rewards and how to take part

On the official site, Praghasa’s rewards include a new Syandana, an Armor Set and an Amp Skin, plus the daily messages. On Xbox Wire, Everett also lists exclusive event Honoria, Somachords and cosmetics such as Glyphs, Sigils, Floofs, Syandanas, Signas, Badges and Blueprints. Both pieces stress that participation is collective: the whole community is needed to fuel Praghasa.

Tau Prologue and the Vessel

Separate from the limited-time Operation, a Tau Prologue quest (Prologue to Tau on Xbox Wire) is added to the Codex on October 15: a bite-sized cinematic entry that stays permanently and can be finished at leisure after November 17. It is not tied to the Operation’s rewards or dialogue. Access requires completing The Hex and The Old Peace; that is not required to farm Moonflesh.

Xbox Wire adds that players can use the Vessel they customised at TennoCon on Eris’s surface in a unique level with a large Infested boss fight, and that the prologue lets players go hands-on with The Lotus for the first time (as shown during TennoLIVE 2026). Those permanent Quest Codex additions are for players who meet the quest prerequisites.
