PlayStation Store: Asia’s most downloaded games in August 2026
Black Myth: Wukong led PS5 downloads in Asia, while Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Beat Saber, and eFootball topped their respective categories.

PlayStation has published its PlayStation Store download charts for Asia for August 2026. Black Myth: Wukong was the region’s most downloaded PS5 game for the month.
NBA 2K27 took second place in the PS5 ranking, followed by Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 in third. Beast of Reincarnation, Mafia: Definitive Edition for PS5, Hell Let Loose: Vietnam, Forza Horizon 5, and It Takes Two were also among the top 10.
PS4, PS VR2, and free-to-play leaders
On PS4, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey claimed Asia’s top spot for August. It was followed by Red Dead Redemption 2, Overcooked! 2, Metal Slug 3, and Watch Dogs 2.
Beat Saber led the PS VR2 chart, with Horizon Call of the Mountain in second. I Am Cat, Kayak VR: Mirage, and Bootstrap Island rounded out the top five.
Across the combined PS5 and PS4 free-to-play chart, eFootball was Asia’s most downloaded title. Roblox, Delta Force (F2P), Once Human (F2P), and Where Winds Meet (F2P) made up the rest of the top five.
The rankings cover downloads made during August. PlayStation notes that product names can differ by region. PS5 upgrades are not counted in the chart, while the PS VR2 list only includes PlayStation Store purchases and excludes upgrades and games bundled with hardware.
