Square Enix has announced that a free demo for Final Fantasy Resonance is now available. It arrives ahead of the full game’s planned release on October 22, 2026.
The company also released a new promotional video alongside the demo.
Final Fantasy Resonance is scheduled for Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and XBOX on PC on that date. The Steam version is set to follow one day later, on October 23, 2026.
Square Enix notes that store availability will open gradually, and release times may differ by region. The demo gives players another way to check out the game ahead of launch.
