PlayStation unveils Grand Theft Auto VI Limited Edition DualSense controllers
The Black and White Limited Edition models launch on November 19, with pre-orders opening September 10.

What we know
PlayStation has revealed two limited-edition DualSense wireless controllers inspired by Grand Theft Auto VI: the Grand Theft Auto VI Black Limited Edition and Grand Theft Auto VI White Limited Edition. Both are set to launch from November 19, the same date given for the game’s release.
The two designs bring Vice City’s style to the controller through a shimmering, color-shifting finish that blends sunset hues with neon lighting. Each also has custom palm-tree details molded into the shell, adding a tactile element alongside official Grand Theft Auto VI branding.
The White Limited Edition is built around Vice City in daylight, drawing on white sand, pastel skies, and the city’s laid-back glamour. It will be available in limited quantities globally through direct.playstation.com and participating retailers.
Meanwhile, the Black Limited Edition takes its cue from the city’s nightlife. It will be offered in limited quantities exclusively through direct.playstation.com in markets where the store is available, while select retailers will carry it in other regions.
Price, release date, and pre-orders
Both controllers carry a recommended retail price of $84.99 USD, ¥12,480 including tax, €84.99, or £74.99, depending on the market. Exact release dates and availability can vary by country or region.
Pre-orders begin on September 10 at 10:00 a.m. local time. In the United States, direct.playstation.com opens orders at 7:00 a.m. PT / 10:00 a.m. ET. Pre-orders also begin at 10:00 a.m. local time through the store in the UK, France, Germany, Austria, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg. Players in Portugal can pre-order via playstation.com/store/hardware.
PlayStation says eligible direct-store pre-orders will receive free delivery on launch day.
On PS5, Grand Theft Auto VI will use the DualSense controller’s haptic feedback and adaptive triggers to respond to in-game action and provide dynamic resistance during Jason and Lucia’s story.
