Helldivers 2 Ironclad Democracy Warbond arrives September 22

What we know

The Ironclad Democracy Warbond for Helldivers 2 launches on September 22, 2026. The new Premium Warbond brings weapons, armor, throwables, capes, boosters, and cosmetic items, with a selection built around high-impact gear and vehicles.

Its weapon lineup includes the AR-11 Arbitrator, an assault rifle using caseless rounds with an underslung shotgun; the GL-15 Evictor, a pump-action grenade launcher manually reloaded one round at a time; and the P-34 Breacher, a missile pistol that fires sticky, phosphorous-fuelled projectiles designed to punch through armor.

Two new throwables are also included. The G-60 Anti-Tank Seeker is a smart grenade drone carrying a high-yield anti-armor payload: it follows its user before homing in on nearby enemies and detonating on impact. The G-8 Immolation grenade trades a conventional explosion for an area of fire.

Armor and a new passive

Ironclad Democracy includes the BFM-16 Tanker Light Armor and BFM-220 Ironclad Heavy Armor. They feature the Blunt-Force Mitigation passive, which makes Helldivers harder to knock down while under attack and cuts impact and collision damage by 30%, while also providing a higher armor rating.

Cosmetic additions include the Standard of Rapid Evacuation and Shroud of The Juggernaut capes, along with matching player cards. The Warbond also contains the Helmet Durability Check emote and the Treadhead title.

Boosters and tank patterns

The Integrated Extinguishers booster shortens the time needed to put out flames, which can help when fire spreads to squadmates. Meanwhile, Surplus EAT Allocation grants two free uses of the Expendable Anti-Tank Stratagem per mission. When distributed correctly, that is enough to give every member of a full squad a single-use rocket launcher.

The release also introduces Tank Exclusive Patterns, a first for a Premium Warbond. The three available patterns are Verdant camouflage, Glacial polymer, and Executive onyx.

Ironclad Democracy requires the base game, Super Credits, and in-game progression to unlock. Helldivers 2 is also available through the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog.
