Gears of War Begins Fifth Year of Never Fight Alone With New E-Day Charity Bundle
The suicide-prevention campaign returns with merchandise, in-game items, and a bundle whose net proceeds will be donated to Crisis Text Line when Gears of War: E-Day arrives on October 6.

What we know
Gears of War has launched the fifth year of Never Fight Alone, its ongoing suicide-prevention initiative with Crisis Text Line and UK illustrator Luke Preece. This year’s campaign adds limited-edition apparel and a charity bundle set to arrive alongside Gears of War: E-Day on October 6.
The Coalition gives 1% of net revenue from its products to Crisis Text Line, its global partner for the initiative. To date, the company says Never Fight Alone has supported more than 16,000 Crisis Text Line conversations.
Crisis Text Line has also recently broadened its global reach through a partnership with Aquí Estoy, a non-profit organization serving people in need across 20 Spanish-speaking countries in Latin America, Spain, and the Caribbean.
New apparel and E-Day items
Luke Preece, a longtime Gears of War: E-Day collaborator, created the artwork for the 2026 campaign. His designs will appear on a T-shirt and hoodie sold through the Xbox Game Studios Shop, as well as new in-game items arriving at launch.
The Never Fight Alone Charity Bundle will launch in Gears of War: E-Day on October 6. It includes a unique character skin, a weapon skin set, an emblem, a banner, and an icon.
All net revenue from the bundle will be donated directly to Crisis Text Line, supporting its free, confidential, 24/7 mental health and crisis intervention services.
Never Fight Alone is renewed each year on September 10, World Suicide Prevention Day. Anyone who is struggling, or concerned about someone else, can text GEARS to 741741 to connect with a Crisis Text Line volunteer.
