Xbox sets September 14–18 release slate, including Game Pass arrivals

What we know

Xbox has published its release lineup for September 14 through 18. The slate spans Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, and Game Pass, covering everything from simulations and puzzles to strategy, survival, racing, and football.

Game Pass subscribers have three notable additions on the schedule. TCG Card Shop Simulator reaches version 1.0 on September 14 and supports Xbox Play Anywhere. Players run a trading card store by arranging the shop, selling booster packs, opening packs to build a collection, and setting up games for customers.

RuneScape: Dragonwilds follows on September 15, arriving through Game Pass with Xbox Series X|S optimization and Xbox Play Anywhere support. The cooperative survival adventure takes place on Ashenfall, a RuneScape continent where dragons have awakened. Its activities include gathering, building, crafting, quests, skill progression, and battles against creatures and foes from the RuneScape setting.

The third Game Pass release is Aniimo on September 16. This free-to-play open-world RPG is built around catching creatures, exploring the continent of Idyll, and bonding with Aniimo to gain new abilities. It is also optimized for Xbox Series X|S and supports Xbox Play Anywhere.

Major releases on September 17

Wednesday contains several of the week’s biggest launches. Dune: Awakening arrives in Deluxe and Ultimate editions, optimized for Xbox Series X|S. It combines open-world survival, adventure, and RPG elements, asking players to explore, build, and craft on Arrakis in solo and multiplayer play.

ENDLESS Legend 2 also launches in version 1.0 that day. The fantasy strategy game has players lead factions, grow cities, develop their economy, and fight turn-based tactical battles on an ocean planet that evolves as the game progresses.

Also due on September 17 is NASCAR 26, featuring all four NASCAR National Series across Career, Quick Race, Championship, Multiplayer, and a new mode based on The Chase. Xbox Wire highlights laser-scanned iRacing assets, dynamic tracks, enhanced driving physics, and cross-play multiplayer. Pre-ordering the Gold Edition grants 72-hour early access, Career rewards, and an exclusive Kyle Larson paint scheme.

The day also brings The Walking Dead: Streets of Survival, optimized for Xbox Series X|S and supporting Xbox Play Anywhere. The arcade action game lets players take control of Rick Grimes, Daryl Dixon, Michonne, and unlockable Negan while battling walkers and the Saviors.

Football, trains, and the rest of the week

EA SPORTS FC 27 Ultimate Edition launches on September 18 with Smart Delivery. Ultimate Edition pre-orders receive up to seven days of early access. The game adds The Grounds, a social football space with activities including Kickabouts and 1v1 matches alongside Clubs. Electronic Arts also lists dynamic corners, improved attacking awareness, and player-focused defending for competitive play.

Earlier in the week, Train Sim World 7 arrives September 15 for Xbox Series X|S with Smart Delivery and Xbox Play Anywhere. It features three routes: the Airedale & Wharfedale Network in northern England and Bahnstrecke Nürnberg–Würzburg in Bavaria, alongside their associated rail services. Its options include Conductor Mode, Free Roam, Creators Club, and Photo Mode.

Two Point Hospital: Full Health Collection launches for Xbox Series X|S on September 16. The bundle contains the base game and all DLC, including Culture Shock, A Stitch in Time, Speedy Recovery, Bigfoot, Pebberley Island, Close Encounters, and Off the Grid, plus several item packs. Xbox Wire says the collection adds nine hospitals, more than 80 illnesses, and new mechanics.

The five-day schedule also includes smaller releases. September 14 brings the camera-controlled Catch Flex and survival shooter FEROCIOUS; 5 in 1 Arcade Vault and the puzzle game Cipher Monk: Cassette Equation arrive on September 15; while Roman Sands RE:Build, Unbox the Room, and Woodo are scheduled for September 16.

September 17 additionally includes Airport Baggage Sim, Au Revoir, Flamecraft, The Grinch 2: Saving Christmas, Owlbound Tomes, Panda: Shards of Aurora, and Sniper Dan. The remaining September 18 releases are Death Simulator, Moving Simulator, One-Button Games 5-in-1 vol. 9, Shadow Cat, Sugarbox, and Zombuffoonery.
